With Misha and Patrick on 8/18

15 yrd sprint after each, with about 15 sec rest after each:
3x foot fire forward
3x foot fire face left
3x foot fire face right
3x turn over left shoulder
3x turn over right shoulder
4x fall down
4x scramble up
4x straight sprint

REST

8x 10 mountain climbers into a 20 yrd shuttle (30 second rest after each)

REST

6x 60 yrd shuttle (2x sprint 15, sprint back)

REST

6x Tennis ball drill with discs (rest while partner is going)

REST

5x sprint 20 yrds, cut back to disc to left and jog disc back to thrower at starting point; then do it to the right; then to both sides with a 10 yrd sprint

REST

2x 40 yrd sprint

Jog in the heat

Jogged with Zak in the HOT HOT HEAT, around puffers for about 17 minutes.  I think we went about 2.5 miles.

When I got home I felt like I had to do something else so I did the following:

3 rounds of:

30 seconds each of, in order:

-Burpees

-Jumping Jacks

-Split Jumps*

-Burpees

-Jumping Jacks

-Mountain Climbers^

-Rest 

Practice- Aug 15-16

We had practice in Boston.  I should have written about it sooner so I could have really gotten out how I felt about it, but hey...  It was hot as hell, with only a couple of subs on Saturday, and no subs on Sunday.  The O had a pretty good weekend, working much better with some set plays that we worked on.  

Patrick and I spent the night at Baylis', but hung out with Caitlin at her new place that night.

It was pretty hot, which is really what i felt like held me back the most.  I was tired, but the heat really affected me.

We did it in 38ish minutes.

Light run with ma

Sore from the snertz.  Back doesn't feel too right.

Decided to go for a very light jog with mom.  4 miles, very slow, but good to move legs.

Did not do any pushups or abs...I do wish I'd do more of this, but it's so much work and it just seems superficial.

Snertz # 2

Snertzed it in 45:30. (see a week ago for a reference to the SNERTZ! ) This week, for the 5-10-5s we did the 5 shuttle, 10 shuttle, 5 shuttle (instead of 5, turn, 10, turn, 5).

Getting a little frustrated with certain people while doing it, but hey...
Back irritated from weeding...
